Welcome!

Sunday Worship is held both in person and by Zoom and takes place in our original worship room with high ceiling, windows to nature and balcony benches.

Orchard Park Friends Meeting welcomes all, people from any faith or no formal faith.  EMAIL US for  details on joining by Zoom or if you have questions. The Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers, has been worshipping at the Orchard Park Meetinghouse for over 200 years.  Meeting in the manner of Friends is a period of meditative worship; in silence we seek to place ourselves in the presence of the Spirit.  All can speak from the silence as they are led.  A founding principle for Quakers  is that there is “that of God in every person” and that all people are  endowed with this “Inner Light”.  The traditional “Quaker Testimonies” include  Simplicity,  Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship (sometimes collectively referred to as SPICES).  Many Friends have been drawn to Quaker Meetings because of the dual commitment to spiritual awareness and social action.  Friends work actively against all forms of oppression, including racism, sexism, and homophobia, and to promote environmental sustainability.
